Networking and Events Cancelled amid COVID-19

Networking and Events Cancelled amid COVID-19

March 13, 2020

Dear Greater Anna Chamber Member,

Your Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and President/CEO are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in our area. We will be following local, state and federal agencies. We are in communication with other professional chamber organizations to provide our members and community with the most up-to-date information and resources for business preparedness.

The U.S. and Texas governmental officials have both declared a State of Emergency and are asking that non-crucial large gatherings to be cancelled. While our Chamber does consider networking part of our overall mission, we also believe in safety first and as such as postponing all networking, ribbon-cuttings and Coffee with Anna Cops gatherings for through March 27, 2020. Any paid registrations for events during this time period will be credited toward a future event in 2020.

We do not know how this will affect our local economy; however, we will be here for you to connect you to resources, advocate for your business needs and educate you, as well as our community, on COVID-19 developments.
